Getting help with Patient Access

If you need help with using Patient Access, there are three ways to get this:

  1. Ask your practice to look at your account on their system (EMIS Web). If you are having problems registering or logging in, your practice can reset your account.
  2. Check the help articles on this website.
  3. Contact us (EMIS Health) by using the option at the bottom of this page. Our support consultants will help you with your query and are also available to help your practice if they need advice on using Patient Access.

Formal complaints

IMPORTANT: Please do not use the complaints procedure if you have not contacted us before about your Patient Access query, you can contact us in the first instance by using the option at the bottom of this page. Please note that this service is only available if your medical practice is in England.

If you are not happy with the service you've received or if your query has not been resolved satisfactorily, we want to put that right. Please write to our our Director of Customer Support Services, Lynn Moffat, at EMIS Health, Rawdon House, Green Lane, Yeadon, LS19 7BY and we will be in touch within three working days (Mon-Fri).

If you still need help with using Patient Access, you can raise a ticket here for the support team. If you want to discuss a medical issue, contact your practice.

Patient Access is an online service provided by EMIS Health. We provide the clinical system that your practice uses and which you connect to through Patient Access. Your Patient Access account is configured and looked after by your practice, not us, so you will sometimes need to contact them directly if you’re having problems. However, where we can help you or your practice we certainly will.
